I bought one recently second hand in excellent condition for $900AUD. I'm still getting used to it but it's a great bit of kit. I've got it on a 5DMk3 and pretty much always have a CPL on it and it's superb. Bargain.

i bought a 1dx at the end of 2020, and so stupidly sold it couple months later cause i needed the money. That was my biggest regret. I’m thinking of buying it again this year. But I have a imperative decision to make between 2 specific cameras since both are super affordable now. Should I still get the 1dx or the 5dsr? Help 😭

I have a R5 and I still miss the low light performance of the 1DX

I operate at a lower budget - EF 100-400 ii and EF 500 is i on R7. I only use the big lens for pre-meditated purposes, the zoom is that good that you don’t get additional IQ from the prime when the same settings are possible. One day I plan to go RF of course. I think the RF 100-500 L and this RF 600 F4 L is the way to go.

Error of thinking. Hobby photographers want the latest and greatest. A pro wants to earn Money Not spend 8k every 2 years in a camera. They use it until IT Breaks in Most cases. Otherwise they not making Profit and Go bankrupt

I want one of these for wildlife photography. I currently use an 80D which i love, but I want to try a full frame for the low light capability. Also i just love how massive this camera is and the sound it makes is just awesome.

I just bought a 400 mm Canon Prime L lens. I haven't received it yet but saw samples from this lens. It's known to be even sharper than the zoom, faster focus and lighter weight. And cheaper. And most shots in a 100-400 are at the max of 400 anyway! I'd rather have a 2nd camera that is ready to go for the closer shots!

Hi Tomas. I bought my first 90D in 2019 and a second one in 2021. They are awesome, especially for wildlife and aircraft photography which are my prime subjects. I pair them with an EF 100-400mm L zoom and a Sigma 150-600mm zoom. Both bodies and lenses perform brilliantly. As you point out, the ability to crop so aggressively is amazing. I print at home to A3+ size, but have no problems having prints made to far bigger dimensions if required. I haven't done any video as yet, but I'll be looking to your videos for some tips to try this year. Thank you for your videos. Best wishes from the UK (England).

We have the Canon EOS 90D camera and it hasn't had much exposure on UA-cam as I'd like. I'm following you for sample photos and videos. Keep using that camera and I'll be sure to keep following you.

bought mine the day our store got them in. Still using it as an everyday camera. The new stuff wouldn’t hold up to what i ask from a camera.

My dream is one day I can get to try using one of those pro cams, 5d classic, 1dx, because I cant afford them even now. Not because I believe I can take better pics with them, but the feel of using them, how we can feel the fullness in our hands, the weight, then the full frame experience that will make my 50mm feel like a real 50, then the shallow dof, and what people say about them being classic, even in terms of the looks of the images.

What is your setting for very fast flying birds? When I go with TV 3200 I always get very noisy images😞 I was told that I got wrong choice with 90 D and I had to purchase 7 D mrk II which has less problems with noise ((

This film was shot in western North Carolina, near my home in the foothills. This makes me want to research the history of how it came to be set here and who was in it, I have a hardback book listing the things that were filmed here or near here. Just need to find the right box where it is.

My only criticism of this masterpiece is that it is an hour too short

you are talking about the 100-400mm but photos appear with 600mm! This is no longer this configuration!!

How do you feel about using a 1.4 with the canon lens.

Bought one purely for the 1.6 crop factor. Wasn't sure about it esp in low light, but to be fair, it is a pretty impressive with fast focus and great burst mode. Is it as good as full frame? depends, but in good light I'd say so, low light? sadly no but other than that, a great camera a tilt screen is a huge bonus.

Hi Tomas, I enjoyed watching your video on the Tamron 150-600 lens. This lens has gotten good reviews over the years. The camera industry is changing technology and trying to make people buy new things. I am staying with the old Nikon technology and will do so successfully. Thanks for the review.
